Toshiba has officially announced their Portege M780 Tablet PC, which is deemed as an update of the company’s M750. The Toshiba Portege M780 Tablet PC is a laptop tablet PC convertible and has been built with business in mind.


The Toshiba Portege M780 is equipped with a 12.1 inch WXGA LED backlit display that boasts a resolution of 1280×800 resolution. It’s powered by an Intel Core i7-620M 2.66 GHz processor, packed with 320GB 7,200 RPM HDD, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an integrated Intel HD graphics.
The Portege M780 Tablet also has a Ultra SlimBay DVD-SuperMulti drive (+/-R double layer), Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity, a webcam and built-in microphone, speakers and a 6-cell battery that lasts up to 4.86 hours while fully charged. The Toshiba Portege M780 Tablet will run you $1,799 with Windows 7 Professional with a choice of 32 or 64 bit.
